Are you looking at starting a business? Or growing your existing business?

Check out HomeBiz Connect – a one-stop shop for home-based and small businesses.

As noted on the HomeBiz Connect website …

Increasingly, people are choosing to be their own boss and go into small business. The types of people who get into small business are as diverse as the types of small businesses out there. One thing everyone who goes into business has in common is the need to develop business skills. This is where  HomeBiz Connect can help every small business owner.

After successfully touring all Australia Capital cities in 2013 and assisting more than a 1000 small business owners, HomeBiz Connect is back in 2014 bigger and better than before. This year, we will again have an expo with Government bodies, Businesses and people wanting to help you with your business. We will also have two speaker streams; the first targeted at start up businesses and business intenders and the second for more established small businesses looking to grow.

The event is Australia’s premier one day small business conference and is fully catered with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.

HomeBiz Connect will introduce you to what is involved in running a business and will connect you up to a range of low-cost and no-cost business advisory services. Professionals will be on hand to answer all sorts of questions from tax to record keeping. They will also be able to advise you how to find people who can help you develop a business plan and understand what it takes to run a small business.

Whether you are looking to start a new online retail store, to contract out your corporate or trade skills, or support a partner by managing their paperwork, attending one of these events is a great place to start.

Come along and explore your options with other people starting out just like you.

The national HomeBiz Connect tour kicks off in Hobart on 12 February, then travels around the capital cities (including Melbourne on 2 April and Sydney on 23 July) before finishing in Darwin on 9 October.
